Fireworks in London 2026: Bonfire Night displays, dates, times and how to get home
The short answer
The big weekend is Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November 2026. Alexandra Palace and Battersea Park run both nights; Blackheath, Danson Park, Morden Park and Beckenham run on the Saturday. On Bonfire Night itself, Thursday 5 November, there are displays at Wimbledon Park, Walthamstow and Coram’s Fields, which is free. Almost every other display needs a ticket bought in advance online, and Walthamstow’s Saturday is already sold out (18 October).
Which still have ticketsEvery display, by dateGetting home after
Bonfire Night in London is no longer one night. The big displays have moved to the weekend after the 5th, and some start the weekend before, on Halloween. This page lists the large ones inside London, each read on its own website on 7 October 2026, and adds the part the listings leave out: how you get home when thousands of people leave a park at the same moment.
Book first, travel second. Every display below except Coram’s Fields is ticketed, and Battersea Park, Beckenham, Herne Hill and Walthamstow say plainly that there are no tickets on the gate. Merton and Walthamstow say their shows sell out. Check the event’s own page before you set off.

Getting home after the fireworks
The display ends and everyone leaves at once. That is the moment that goes wrong.
- Saturday 7 November is a Night Tube night. The Victoria, Jubilee and Piccadilly lines, the Central line in part, the Northern line via Charing Cross and the Overground Windrush line run all night. Most other lines and all National Rail routes do not. See which lines run all night.
- Thursday 5 and Sunday 8 November are not. After the last train, you need a night bus. See London after the last train.
- Walk to the second-nearest station. At Blackheath the organisers themselves suggest Lewisham. At Battersea they suggest Albert Gate. The nearest station is where the queue is.
- Or stay on. Alexandra Palace suggests staying a little longer after the display to avoid the rush. Battersea Park runs an after-party until 11pm on Saturday and 9:30pm on Sunday.
- Agree a meeting point before the display, in case phones fail in the crowd. See getting home safely at night.
Watching for free
Coram’s Fields on 5 November is the free display on this list, for families with children. All the large park displays above are fenced and ticketed: you cannot walk in on the night. Several organisers ask people not to bring their own fireworks or sparklers.
For the Mayor’s fireworks on the Thames at midnight on 31 December, see New Year’s Eve in London: tickets and getting home.
Before you go
- Check the display’s own page on the day: weather and crowds can change times.
- Buy only from the link on the organiser’s own website. Battersea Park’s organisers warn about scams and fake tickets and do no resale.
- Several displays ban glass, outside alcohol, sparklers and pets (assistance dogs aside), and search bags at the gate. Each one’s rules are on its own page.
- Letting off your own in the garden? Private fireworks must stop at 11pm, except on 5 November (midnight) and on Diwali, Sunday 8 November (1am). Saturday 7 November is not an exception. See fireworks late at night: what time is legal.
Checked: 18 October 2026. Every date, time and price on this page was read on the display’s own website on 7 October 2026, and every display except Blackheath (its site showed a security check) was read again on 18 October. Organisers change details as the night gets closer; we will re-check every display again in the first week of November. Nobody paid to be listed, and this is not a ranking.
